Great Narrators and Teachers
رواة الحديث
Companions through whom a great deal of what later generations learned was transmitted.
Some Companions became the channel through which much of what the community knows was passed on. They were asked questions for decades, and taught students who taught students. If you have ever wondered how anything from that period reached us at all, this group is a large part of the answer.
Many Companions transmitted extensively. SahabaMate currently holds entries for a small number of them.
